HOBART'S INNER-CITY
GOLF COURSE

New Town Bay Golf Club is a private nine-hole metropolitan golf course just 10 minutes from the Hobart CBD.   

 

Formerly known as the EZ Risdon Golf Club, a defining feature of the course is the challenging ninth hole : 

183-metre downhill par three with two difficult bunkers surrounding the green.

 

The Club hosts competitions each Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Bookings are required on Wednesdays and Saturdays and need to be made by a member.

Non-members are invited to play socially on other days,

but at least one of the group must be a member of an affiliated golf club

($25 green fees apply).  New members are welcome to apply to join.

There is a licensed bar in the clubhouse for members and guests, which is typically open on

Wednesday (11am - 7pm), Friday (12 noon - 7pm) and Saturday (10am - 7pm).​
